About our Market

Welcome to your favorite marketplace!

The Old House Vintage Market is a well thought out shopping event taking into account our own extensive experiences as Vendors in Colorado-based antique, vintage, salvage, upcycled and handmade markets.

We gathered the best of our experiences and applied them to the creation of The Old House Vintage Market with total success: The OHVM was awarded Reader’s Choice for Best Festival in 5280 Magazine’s Top of the Town and 3rd Pleace for Best Festival on the Denver A List.

Our hard work and refusal to create nothing less than the best upscale market of the highest quality that has received high praise from our Vendors and Visitors as being a highly supported, happy and well attended market.

Our first and second markets were located at Parfet Park, in Golden, Colorado, in 2016.  In 2017, we expanded to Loveland for an indoor market at The Ranch Event Center that drew 3500+ shoppers for our Friday Night Shopping Party and All Saturday Shopping event.  Look for more expansion in 2018 where we will be adding Castle Rock to our list of market locations, as well as branching out to a new category of market, altogether!

About Our Journey

In 2010, the owner of The Old House Vintage Market, Bernadette Rankin, founded, Old House Chic LLC,  a business born from rescuing and repurposing antique and vintage elements salvaged from soon to be demolished, historic houses in North Texas.

Each of these homes held a treasure trove of history and with each piece that was salvaged, a story was saved. Old House Chic LLC was born out of a new found style of decorating with these rescued, salvaged and discovered pieces each with its own unique story- a style we called “Old House Chic.”

After being a vendor for several years, a love of the creative business community, mentoring new vendors and encouraging others to realize their dreams, took hold and we found a new home in the creation of The Old House Vintage Market.  We love every part of what we do- supporting vendors, creating a high quality marketplace, meeting like minded visitors and the creation of an antique, vintage, salvage, upcycled and handmade community – all of which forms the heart of our blossoming market.
